We love a good FEAST, a glutton’s heaven. We enjoyed this food lovers Mecca in December (see article) and we are hopeful for March’s four day food binge up. It will be pitched up at the character packed warehouse-y style space of the Tobacco Docks in Wapping, promising to be styled and stuffed silly to create a super edible experience for the food aroused masses.
Over the 7th to the 10th of March, expect great food, experimental cocktails and live music. Meander and munch around this fairs’ coolest street foodsters and chefy types, all under one huge roof. Here are a couple of the more high profile eats you can expect to find: Spuntino, Caravan, Dishoom, Patty and Bun, HIX, The Wright Brothers…along with one of the best Pizzas we have ever had from Pizza Pilgrims. We HEART them.
FEAST felt like a melting pot of creative, passionate and affordable eats last year in an unexpected space, somewhere to waste some time, hang with friends and devour ones way around and incredible amount of alternative delights from Hot Dogs n’ Burgers to beautiful Breads, Pastries and Cakes.
There are also options to hold your own events within the FEAST fair, with the Tobacco Dock offering an array of spaces for private hire. Contact us for details and availability. Rita’s Supper club is also hosting a series of ticketed dinners that offer ‘a grown-up evolution of our current food menu paired with a short but copious list of mixed drinks’.
Rita’s offers a fast food staple of fried chicken, made with premium, animal-welfare friendly ingredients. Their culinary references span the globe, referencing East Asia as much as North America, with an emphasis on brightness and freshness of flavour, textures and bold colours. Tickets for dinner and drinks £45 per person.: email@example.com
