WHAT WE DID

VENUE:

We feel that the venue is key, especially as it can account for a large percentage of a client’s event budget. It is key the right location is sourced and booked, to further cement the message of the event. iLoveDesigner.comis brand that has a wide appeal and with the well-travelled and exotic ‘East meets West’ concept, we felt the a central London, Soho location seemed like perfect fit, an oasis in the heart of the cool capital.

The House of St Barnabas has a great reputation, had suitable spaces for the activity and worked within the given budget.

CATERING:

We presented various catering options that worked with the ‘East meets West’ concept and the chosen supplier was the highly regarded Ottolenghi. The brand identity of Ottolenghi was the prefect marriage for iLoveDesigner.com, with its reputation for colour, luxury and travel.

DRINKS:

We also produced a bar and found a suitable sponsor, in the form of Opihr, a spiced London gin. Again working well with the styling and communication of the event, with Ophir’s spices and botanicals sourced from the globe. The branding of the bottle and bar also tied into the colour and styling of the event.

We also served a selection of light floral drinks (it was one of the hottest days of the year).

STYLING:

Working closely with our florist and style team, we designed the room to create a subtle and elegant environment that let the items of jewelry do all the talking and steal the show. We chose a clear colour plate and worked across the two rooms to pull the spaces together, creating an exotic yet refined space.

Mindful of the budget we suggested the use of white trestles tables to create blank canvas where the jewellery could shine. We also sourced various suitable and sophisticated props and stands.

We also used a handmade backboard in the center of one of the focal walls with social media handles and tags for the press and guests to engage in online activity.
