The luxurious collection of three boozy, dessert-inspired concoctions are served up in melt-in-the-mouth, hollow chocolate Easter eggs – perfect for polishing off afterwards. Available from Friday 25th March – Monday 28th March, chocoholics can enjoy a nest including: tangy Raspberry Brûlée, a creamy Tiramisu and sinful Passionfruit and Vanilla Martini at £10 for all three. The Easter Egg Choctails will be hatched at The Botanist Broadgate Circle, The Botanist Sloane Square and One Canada Square (Canary Wharf).
Hop over to Newman Street and into the Easter spirit this March with a specially crafted chocolate orange cocktail from one of Fitzrovia’s finest new restaurants, Piquet.
Satisfying those sweet cravings, the Bunny Alexander is a twist on a classic, combining velvety smooth chocolate cream with Grand Marnier orange liqueur, orange syrup and Crème de Cacao to provide the perfect melt-in-your-glass concoction. Garnished with a charming dark chocolate orange truffle, 70% cocoa chocolate ring and sprinkled with candied orange peel, this one is strictly not for sharing!
Cocktail Trading Company will be offering the “Eggsperimental cocktail cup” at both their Smithfield and new Brick Lane venues. This expertly created and wonderfully amusing cocktail includes Breakfast Brandy, peach, blood orange, fresh tarragon and sparkling wine, with a garnish of cheerio brittle. Renowned for their edible garnishes, the cocktail also features an egg-shell which has been filled with delicious creamy pannacotta, a real cracking beverage!
This year, to celebrate Easter Sunday, Mr Fogg’s Residence in Mayfair will be hosting an eggcentric bespoke Tipsy Tea Easter Event on Sunday, 27th March 2016. Guests can choose from Vueve Clicquot RICH champagne cocktails or an alluring selection of Hendrick’s gin teas, accompanied with a stunning selection of hot cross buns, sandwiches, cakes, pastries, chocolate eggs and macaroons, all served on embossed fine bone china and elegantly presented on three-tiered cake stands.
Satisfy your sweet tooth and hop down to Bread Street Kitchen, St Pauls for an over 18’s Easter Egg Hunt with prizes including complimentary cocktails and Champagne brunches and hoards of Chocolate! After the hunt chill out with a Boisterous Bunny (vodka, coffee liqueur, salted caramel, espresso and chocolate bitters) served with its potent, icy contents double strained into a chocolate egg.
The Honey Bunny cocktail at Heddon Street Kitchen manages to blend some of Easter’s most indulgent ingredients: chocolate and more chocolate! Bacardi Carta Blanca and Orange Curacao is married with Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur and a dash of chocolate bitters, before finished off with an egg yolk foam and sticky chocolate orange rim.
Michelin-starred chef HélèneDarroze brings her famed gastronomic approach to the humble Sunday roast, with the launch of her new six-course roast chicken menu for two, Le Poulet du Dimanche, to be served in her restaurant at the Connaught on Sundays.
