To celebrate London Coffee Week 11th – 17th April, we’ve been given some exclusive coffee cocktail recipes for you to try at home. Plus we want to let you know where to get the best coffee in London. Us Londoners are clearly mad for the stuff (when are they gonna do this shizzle by drip?).
London Coffee Festival being held this weekend at The Old Truman Brewery. See artisan coffee brewers give workshops and masterclasses, get physical in the coffee lab and party at the espresso martini bar. Not forgetting the fabulous array of street food vendors to accompany that coffee (or cocktail!).

3. Look Mum No Hands! Old Street
A Bike repair shop come cafe, the baristas here know their business and take pride in doing it right. Most beans are from Square Mile, but there are guest coffees too. Espresso is perfectly made, and milky drinks are well presented. No effort is made to rush dawdlers, even when there’s high demand for tables. Look, Mum – total relaxation.
4. Attendant, Fitzoria
This former public convenience is now a charming coffee bar. Attendant roast their own sustainably sourced beans weekly on a Probat roaster using beans sourced from around the world. They use green coffee beans from single estates and farms where the focus is on quality, provenance, sustainability and fair relationships with growers.
5. Bar Termini, Soho
A joint venture between cocktail maestro Tony Conigliaro and Marco Arrigo, this tiny space serves drink-and-dash £1 espressos at the bar Italian-style, in addition to well-priced Negronis and small plates of food. For those wanting to brush up on their coffee skills, Marco runs free masterclasses. With all the attention on London’s Antipodean coffee shops, Bar Termini is making us fall in love with Italian coffee all over again.
